Well judging by your guys offensive numbers you certainly haven't heard of Nevada's pistol offense, one of the hottest offenses in college football.
You guys have a good defense, but you still play in one of the worst football conferences in all of college football, let alone a BcS conference. Coming and trying to smack a 12-1 team when you are a paltry 7-5 is not indicative of a very high IQ.

Not a flame but where is E. Washington, Idaho or the rest of your schedual. I supported your team against Boise. However if you are that good at 11-1 then what are doing in SF. Obviously other people do not think much of your conference or who you played outside of conference. If not for two missed chip shots by the guy from Boise nobody would know about you. Your quarterback is terrific! But do not criticize tha ACC. How many former National champions do you have in that conference? How many Heisman winners has your league had? Get one or two and then be critical. I believe that the last time Boise lost at home it was to us. We are very young and were fortunate to find a little offense to make a bowl. However over the last ten years, we would have probably beaten your team this year. By the way what is your record over the last ten years?
We will show up. Do not count us as a bad draw. That might be a mistake.....

Ah yes, lets rest upon the laurels of past achievements. Fortunately for us, we are not playing the older BC teams. Where is Weber State and Kent State for you guys?
Clearly you have an apparent lack of understanding of the bowl system as it stands today, as bowl tie-ins are what they are, and most conferences have to make due with what they are given. Thank you for the complement about Kaep, obviously you guys have a good defense and it will be a good match-up in that regard.
That same Boise team beat the ACC's best team on a "neutral" field back East, only a few hours away from Blacksburg. That same team blanked you guys, only their second win after losing to James Madison.
Again, this is not some Madden or NCAA match-up of all-time great teams from the past, so the former NC bull you are spewing is quite irrelevant. I just wish this game were earlier, and not the night before the NC game.
RE: the Nevada-Boise game this year, apparently you have only watched the ESPN highlight of Brotzman missing the field goal. They shouldn't have been in that position to kick the first, and had they made the second I am confident we still would have taken it to them. We outscored the #4 team in the nation 28-7 in the final two quarters of regulation and 3-0 in overtime. That is not luck, that is execution and making things happen.
